Walker’s Legacy Foundation Introduces New Series, Level Up: Rochester Edition featuring Jessica Lewis, the CEO of LáLew Public Relations
Walker’s Legacy Foundation launches rebranded digital series Level Up: Rochester Edition in Rochester, New York on March 18th from 10 - 11AM EST.
Rochester, NY—March 16, 2021—Walker’s Legacy Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Walker’s Legacy, is proud to present Level Up: Rochester Edition, a digital speaker series created to support existing and aspiring female entrepreneurs seeking guidance, encouragement, and practical advice. Level Up: Rochester Edition will take place on March 18, 2021 from 10-11AM EST, and will feature guest Jessica Lewis, CEO of LáLew Public Relations.
Level Up: Rochester Edition, sponsored by the Rochester Area Community Foundation, The City of Rochester, M&T Bank, Rochester Economic Development Corporation, and W.K. Kellogg is a part of the Women Who Enterprise accelerator. Women Who Enterprise is an entrepreneurial program for women of color that provides mentorship, financial resources, and networking opportunities in Rochester, NY.
“Being a woman in entrepreneurship can sometimes be intimidating, and we are more than excited to launch our newest program Level Up: Rochester Edition to provide women in Rochester, New York with the support and guidance needed to start their own businesses,” said Ayris T. Scales, Managing Director and CEO of Walker’s Legacy and Walker’s Legacy Foundation.
Our featured speaker, Jessica Lewis, is the President & CEO of LáLew Public Relations. LáLew Public Relations is a full service PR firm specializing in media relations, marketing, branding, web management, social media and event planning. With more than 10 years experience, Jessica’s passion for public relations began while still an undergraduate student at Buffalo State College. She served as the president of an on-campus club dedicated to addressing pressing issues around social justice. Jessica often found herself engaging in meaningful conversations with her peers and would promote club activities and special events. Years later, those experiences coupled with her professional experiences, would come full circle with the launch of her own public relations company.
Level Up: Rochester Edition will be moderated by Rochester Program Coordinator of Walker’s Legacy Foundation with opening remarks with Managing Director and CEO of Walker’s Legacy Foundation and Walker’s Legacy, Ayris T. Scales.
